Verizon Droid by Motorola
Verizon Droid by Motorola
iPhone-killer this is not, but it’s a big step in the right direction Motorola’s Droid is full of firsts: It’s the first smartphone on Verizon powered by Google’s Android OS, it’s also the first Motorola smartphone to use Android, and it’s the first phone in the United States that ships with version 2.0 of the Android OS. Why I’m Not Getting a Droid Today
I’ve been testing the Verizon Droid for the past few days, and it’s an awesome phone. But even though I’m eager to ditch my iPhone and eighty-six AT&T, I’m not going to switch to Verizon for the Droid. Don’t get me wrong: I am very impressed with what Motorola has built. In my mind, the Droid and the iPhone…  Read More →

Verizon’s Motorola Droid To "Do" What the iPhone "iCan’t"
Motorola’s CLIQ hasn’t even shipped to T-Mobile USA customers, and already the outfit’s “comeback phone” (not to mention its first-ever Android phone) is being greatly overshadowed. Verizon iPhone? Don’t Hold Your Breath
With plenty of heat on AT&T this past year, hopes have been running high for Apple to share its iPhone with Verizon. However, an analyst does not foresee a Verizon iPhone arriving anytime soon. That’s because Verizon recently announced a partnership with Google to offer two new Google Android-powered handsets this year. That would suggest...

Owners of the new iPhone 3GS can now jailbreak the latest iPhone operating system (3.1) thanks to the hardworking hackers known as Dev Team. Motorola DROID Does? A Deep Dive Look
There’s no denying that the Motorola DROID is receiving a lot of hype.
