Intel’s Sandy Bridge CPUs to Have 2x the Graphics Performance
Intel’s graphics offerings have traditionally been a little lackluster, but that could be about to change. Intel has reportedly informed its corporate partners that the new Sandy Bridge CPUs will be available by year’s end, and will pack a significant graphics performance increase . Intel is claiming as much as a doubling of performance. A “doubling” compared to what is currently unclear, but one could assume Intel is referring to the current Nehalem architecture. The Sandy Bridge parts will be based on a 32nm manufacturing process and will have an on die graphics processor. The CPU core will be capable of clocks up to 4GHz and some models will have eight cores. ATI and Nvidia plan to move to 28nm graphics cores, …

Testing out Intel Core i7 970 6 cor...Well, I finally got a 32nm 6 core i7 like I always wanted. I wanted to get the 980x in retail, but here in Australia it costs like $1400, no fucking way am I going to pay so much for some CPU. I got this CPU in eBay by the way, it only cost me like $800 which is "cheap", if you asked me here in Australia it retails up to $1200. So yeah, its been a while since I did a video, wanted to do one, sorry if this video sucks or anything, I'm planning to get more upgrades, like the Coolermaster HAF X case, maybe the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD9 and definitely the Corsair H70. And since its based on 32nm, it runs like 10% cooler than its 45nm predecessors which is another thing I like about this CPU.
